Maria Menounos
Maria Menounos, a Greek-American journalist and actress is worth of more than $20 million. Maria Menounos is most well-known for her role as a reporter and actress for the shows Today, Extra and Access Hollywood. She was born to Costas Menounos and Litsa Menounos, Greek immigrants from Boston, Massachusetts on June 8th 1978. Her parents were immigrants from America who arrived in the United States before her birth. They were cleaners in the Boston nightclub. As a child, she was a member of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church. She was a graduate of Medford High School. Menounos was 17, when she was the producer of "Land of Merry Missfits" which was an independent film fairy story. Menounos began competing in beauty contests in 1995, and was named Miss Massachusetts Teen USA in the year 2006. Then, Menounos went to Emerson College and was a part of Emerson Independent Video, an award-winning group. Emerson was her senior year in 2000. She worked as an Emerson Channel One News reporter while in school. Menounos 10 minute segments were full of unforgettable assignments, like traveling to El Salvador to report the earthquake that struck the country.
