Alexandra Maria Lara has been a German/Romanian television actress for a long time. Alexandra is well-known for her roles on Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. The only child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareu, Alexandra began her showbiz career from a young age. When she reached the age of 16years old, Alexandra was able to land leading roles in several shows on television. In the Oscar-nominated film Downfall her character as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudljunge was also a critically-acclaimed one. The other Oscar nominated films featuring the diva include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Alexandra is well known for her participation in a variety of important projects in both the US and internationally. Among others, these projects include the British biographical film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. Additionally, she was an active member of the Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
