Matthew Matt James was born in North Carolina on December 5 1991. James is the son of Manny and Patty James and is of mixed race. The father of Manny James is Nigerian while his mom is is caucasian-American. In 2010, he graduated from Sanderson High School and furthered into Wake Forest University where he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics in 2015. James gained fame when the show The Bachelorette as a reality television star. The Bachelor season 25 premiered in the year 2021. The next Bachelor was James who was his one of the first African American to play the leading character. James seemed to be the perfect choice to the job because he is handsome well-rounded tall and has a good sense of humorous. Rachael Krukconnell was his love interest at the end of season. In 2021, he joined forces with famous dancer Arnold to compete in the 30th season of Dancing with the Stars. James as well as Arnold were 12th in the contest.
