Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks was an American actress who is best known for her role as Joan Holloway. She played the role for seven seasons of AMC's period drama Mad Men from 2007-2015. The show received wide acclaim from critics as well as nominations for 6 Emmy awards in the category of best supporting actress. Over the course of her 20-year career she also became known for her role in the comedy dramatic Another Period, a crime drama titled Tin Star. In films she is noted for her role on Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River The Neon Demon The Strangers: Prey at Night Egg and American Woman. The voice of her character has been featured in animated films, such as Toy Story 4, Scoob!, and From Up on Poppy Hill. Before that, she was working as a model and continued with it for a long time before she made her acting debut in the television series Undressed in 1999. The first time she acted was in the part on the show in Beggars and Choosers. Her role in Firefly which is a iconic film which was well received by critics and audiences alike, was followed. Esquire magazine voted her as the most sexy woman on earth and the Best-Looking American Woman of the year 2010.
